An indigenous food garden! This forager garden is located on a large site next to a river. The fun design grew out of  the concept of manicured terraces close to the house and wilder or veldgrass with edible screens stepping up towards the periphery.

The interesting plant palette include Diospyros mespiliformis (Jakhalsbessie), Azanza garckeana (Tree hibiscus) and Cassinopsis ilicifolia (Lemon thorn).

In future phases there are also indigenous water plants closer to the river. In the house are two bathroom courtyards with indoor planting. The large indigenous trees on site will remain, and some Cussonia and Celtis trees will be added.
