The revamp of the Sun1 hotel in Southgate Johannesburg on a limited budget included introducing indigenous street trees and water-wise planting on the road verge. Feature colourful planting around the entrances, with screening along the room windows. Signature planting palette was introduced to create an example for the future hotel upgrades.
